Testimonials

If you want to know what pupils thought of Argyll Driver Training, below are some of the comments they wrote on their anonymous feedback form.  They were asked to:-

'make any comments about the instructor, the car, the style of instruction, and your whole experience with Argyll Driver Training.  Is there anything that would improve the service for future pupils?'

After an open invitation like that, I dreaded to think what they'd write!  Here are some of them:

"Nothing, it was top class.  Apart from the rain."

"Great car to learn to drive in, great instructor made learning easier and fun."

"I didn't want to learn to drive, however after 2 lessons I was excited about my lessons.  Was the most fun 2 hours of my time!"

"The easy going nature of the instructor made it a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment, always felt able to ask questions, and I didn't get stressed out when mistakes were made."

"I found the instructor was enthusiastic and cheerful which puts you at ease.  The car is very comfortable to drive and you are offered different driving experiences which others don't offer.  I wouldn't change a thing."

"Excellent tutor & car - no improvement required.  Thanks."

"I found my instructor very friendly & he always put me at ease during my lessons."

"The instructor had a great attitude, always made me feel at ease. GREAT car, cheers Halle!"

"Fantastic driving instructor, utterly the best.  Thank you so much.  You and Halle were brill.  Bet you'll miss me.  Gonna miss you."

"I really enjoyed the lessons.  You kept us on the spot asking questions and you don't just tell the answer you give hints and make us work it out so everything is remembered."

"Learning to drive was made a very enjoyable experience.  Very pleased to have passed my test but sorry that my MINI adventure with Halle is over (well until my PassPlus!)."

"I really enjoyed my time spent with Halle & Rob. The laid back no pressure approach was exactly the way I needed to learn, although the lightsabre* could be bigger"

*Note: the use of a lightsabre to 'encourage' pupils and as an aid to concentration is a management technique developed by Rob back at Rolls-Royce, where his original lightsabre is still used in the Configuration Control office for controlling unruly Programme Managers.  The size of the car does limit the size of lightsabre that can be used to control pupils without causing significant damage to the interior ;-)
